Selection of Local Control for the Output channel means that Counter or Counters mapped to this Output continues to determine this Output operation. Selection of Local Control for the Output channel requires:

This Output channel to be mapped to at least a Counter (Counter00 or Counter01) through any Windows.
Counter or Counters mapped to this Output channel is configured as Continue Counting in the corresponding Program or Communication Fault mode.
