You can configure the parameters only when Channel Mode Assignment is configured as
User-Selectable
.
TIP: When Channel Mode Assignment is configured as
Predefined with Generic IO-Link
, the selected mode for each channel is fixed and cannot be changed.
Parameter
Description
Port
Displays the device port number from 0…7.
Channel
Displays the device channel number from 0…15.
Selected Mode
Specifies the operation mode for the channel.
Possible values for channels 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 include:
  • Disabled
  • IO-Link, Digital Input Output, Timestamp
  • IO-Link
  • Digital Input, Fallback
  • Digital Input, Timestamp, Fallback
  • Digital Output, Short Circuit
  • Digital Input
  • Digital Input, Timestamp
  • Digital Input, Counter
Possible values for channels 1, 3, 9, and 11 include:
  • Disabled
  • Digital Input Output, Timestamp
  • Digital Output, Short Circuit, No Load
  • Digital Input
  • Digital Input, Timestamp
  • Digital Input, Counter
Possible values for channels 5, 7, 13, and 15 include:
  • Digital Output, Group Short Circuit
  • Disabled
Available Modes
Indicates the available mode types for the channel.
  • DI
     (Digital Input)
  • DO
     (Digital Output)
  • IO-Link
