Confirm Device Definition changes

Confirm any changes that are being made to the module’s definition.
  • Yes = Select
    Yes
     to update the appropriate values and return to Overview. Data is recovered from existing settings or set to their default values, as appropriate. Configurations are updated, as required for the new device definition.
    At this point, the changes have not been applied to the Studio 5000 Logix Designer application project and only exist within the scope of the profile
    Also note that you must select
    Apply
     to commit the changes to the Studio 5000 Logix Designer application project. This provides the opportunity to review the changed data and make adjustments as required prior to committing the changes to the module.
  • No = Select
    No
     to return to Overview without changing any values.
