Safety Network Number
Enter a 48-bit number to prevent the acceptance of connection requests that have been misdirected by an intervening bridge device. Safety devices connected to the same bridge device need not be on the same safety network; they may have different safety network numbers.
Choose from the following two formats.
  • Time-based
. The safety network number is generated based on the creation date and time (to the millisecond) of the device.
  • Manual
. You enter a number from 1 through 9999, per network type.
