Points view parameters (1732E-8X8M12DR)

The 1732E-8X8M12DR device supports configurable discrete filtering. Use this view to configure the Off → On and On → Off parameters for the input channels and the Diagnostic Latching parameters for the output channels.
Inputs
Parameter
Description
Off → On Filter Time
Specifies the Off to On filter time in milliseconds to delay transitions from Off to On. This is useful for filtering out transients in noisy environments.
Valid values are:
  • 0 ms
  • 1 ms
     (default)
  • 2 ms
  • 4 ms
  • 8 ms
  • 16 ms
This parameter is not available in Run mode.
On → Off Filter Time

Open Wire Detection
Enables or disables Open Wire Detection by selecting or clearing the checkbox.
This parameter is not available in Run mode.
Fault Status
Displays the input channel’s current Fault status.

Enables or disables Diagnostic Latching for all output channels by selecting or clearing the checkbox.
Point
Indicates the points to which the configuration applies.
No Load Detection
Enables or disables No Load Detection by selecting or clearing the checkbox.
Fault Status
Displays the output channel’s current Fault status.
Latched Fault
Reset
Returns the output to its commanded state and clears the fault.
Reset
 is only available when
Enable Diagnostic Latching
 is selected and the controller is online or in Run mode.
