Select the units for the PV range

Use
Select PV Units
 to select
PV units
 for the
PV Upper Range
and
Lower Range
 values.
To select the units for the PV range
  1. On the tab for the device, expand
    Channels
    , and then expand an individual channel.
  2. Select
    HART Command
    .
  3. In the
    HART Command
     view, select the
    Enable HART Device PV Range Configuration (Command 35, Command 47)
     checkbox, and then select (
    ...
    ).
  4. In
    Select PV Units
    , specify these parameters:
    • Category
      Category of the unit, such as power, electrical, and temperature. If there is no suitable category,
      Enter ID Value
       is assigned.
    • PV Units
      Unit of measure associated with the category. Not available when
      Category
       is set to
      Enter ID Value
      .
    • PV Unit ID
      Unit ID associated with the unit. When
      Category
       is
      Enter ID Value
      , a value between 1 and 255 is assigned. The default is 32.
  5. Select
    OK
     to confirm and save the changes.
