EDS File

The EDS file is used for identifying the module to network tools, such as RSNetWorx or a CIP (refer to "CIP" in RSLogix5000 HELP) network browser (e.g. RSLinx Who). The EDS file can be retrieved from the ACT350 Documentation CD and installed using the EDS Hardware Installation Tool for RSLinx.

PLEASE NOTE:

The ACT350's EDS file should NOT be loaded into STUDIO5000 to be used as an AOP module. This custom AOP should be used for that purpose instead.
