view in the Device definition
dialog box includes these parameters:

The available parameters vary depending on the device being configured and the specified connection type.
Parameter | Description |

Device type | Displays the type of the device being configured. |
Name | Specifies an IEC 61131 compliant device name. The name must be a unique name without any invalid characters. |
Description | Specifies the device description. |
Ethernet address | Specifies the IP configuration for the device. Possible options include:
|
Enable Network Address Translation (NAT) | Enables the safety communications to a device addressed through NAT. |
Actual device address | Specifies the device's IP address on the Private Network of the NAT. It is the same IP address found in the Internet Protocol view.
This parameter is available when the Enable Network Address Translation (NAT) checkbox is selected. |
Vendor | Specifies the vendor of the device being configured. |
Product type | Specifies the product type of the device. |
Product code | Specifies the product code of the device. |
Major revision | Specifies the major device firmware revision level. The major revision is used to indicate the revision of the interface to the device. Valid values are in the range from 1 through 127. |
Minor revision | Specifies the minor device firmware revision level. The minor revision indicates the firmware revision. Valid values are in the range from 1 through 255. The default value is 1. |
Electronic keying | Reduces the possibility of using the wrong device in a control system. The valid values are:

Input data | Determines the type of input connection for the device. Available options depend on the input and output selections made for Connection . |
Output data | Determines the type of output connection for the device. Available options depend on the input and output selections made for Connection . |
Data format | Determines the format of data exchanged between the parent and the device. |
