Device definition dialog box

Use the
Device definition
 dialog box to:
  • View the device type and revision.
  • Change the device type and revision with
    Studio 5000 Logix Designer®
    as the host software.
  • Configure device-specific parameters.
    TIP:
    The available parameters are based on the device being configured. Parameters that do not apply to the device are hidden.
    You cannot change device definition while online or in Safety secured mode.
