Device identity and status banners
The device identity and device status banners are present at the top of every view of the device profile tab. The available parameters vary depending on the device:
Parameter | Description |

Catalog number | Displays the catalog number of the device. |
Name | Displays the device name specified in Device definition . |
Parent | Displays the parent device name. In the case of a controller or standalone device without a parent,
<none> is displayed. For a child device in the
parent's local chassis or attached to the parent's EtherNet port,
Local is displayed. |
Slot (if supported) | Displays the slot number where the device resides. |
IP address (if supported) | Displays the IP address of the device. |
EtherNet/IP in-cabinet address (if supported) | Displays the unique address of the downstream bus for the devices of the in-cabinet ecosystem. |
Host name (if supported) | Displays the domain name where the device resides. |
Channel (if supported) | Displays the channel number where the device resides. |
Node (if supported) | Displays the node number where the device resides. |
