Configure Counter State When Module is in Program Mode or Inhibited

You can configure the counter to specific states when the module is in Program Mode or when the module is inhibited.

When the controller switches from Run mode to Program Mode or Inhibited, the counter can behave in the following ways, depending on how you configure the Counter State in Program Mode parameter:

Continue counting – Default
Hold its last state
Transition to a user-defined value

You can choose to reset the stored values when the module is in Program Mode or Inhibited.

When the module is inhibited, the counter behavior follows the Counter State in Program Mode configuration.
