Configure Output State When Module is in Program Mode or Inhibited
You can configure individual output points to specific states when the module is in
Program Mode or when the module is inhibited.
When the controller switches from Run mode to Program Mode or Inhibited, the output can
behave in the following ways, depending on how you configure the Output State in Program
Mode parameter:
- Turn off – Default
- Turn on
- Hold its last state
- Local Control – This option is only available when one of the following conditions is true:
- The encoder type is set to SSI and the SSI channel controls the output.
- The encoder type is set to HSC, the counter controls this output, and the counter is configured as Countinue Counting in Program Mode.
When the module is inhibited, the output behavior follows the Output State in Program
Mode configuration.
