Troubleshooting

Use these troubleshooting tips to resolve issues with the FactoryTalk Updater.
Check firewall ports and URL access
If you receive a status message such as Disconnected, check system logs for details, and check your system to make sure the required ports and URLs are available and are not blocked.
During operation,

Updater opens these firewall ports on the server:

Updater can access the Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC) data and download the latest patches, add these URLs to the firewall exception list:
