Create a dialog box

  1. In , right-click the
    Alarm Widget Components
     folder, and select
    New
    Containers
    Dialog box
    .
  2. Select the dialog box, and in bar select
    Add
     and select
    Alias
    .
  3. Next to
    Kind
    , select
    Add Dynamic Link
     and link to
    Types
    Event types
    BaseEventType
    ConditionType
    AcknowledgeableConditionType
    Alarm Condition
    .
  4. In , right-click the dialog box created in 1, and select
    New
    Base controls
    Text box
    .
  5. In , right-click the dialog box created in 1, and select
    New
    Base controls
    Label
    .
  6. Change the label
    Text
     to:
    Alarm Comment
  7. In Project View, copy the
    Ackonowledge
     button from
    Alarm Widgets
    Alarm Summary (type)
    Layout
    ButtonsHorizontalLayout
    , and paste it in the dialog box.
  8. In the dialog box, select the pasted button, and in
    Properties
    :
    1. If it exists, remove the
      Enabled
       dynamic link.
    2. Under
      Event
      , next to
      Comment
      , select
      Add Dynamic Link
      , and select
      ProjectName
      Alarm Widgets
      Alarm Widget Components
      DialogBox1 (type)
      TextBox
      Text
    3. Next to
      MouseClickEvent
      , select
      Add
      , and select
      ProjectName
      Alarm Widgets
      Alarm Widget Components
      DialogBox1 (type)
      Close
      .
  9. (optional) Change the dialog box background color.
