Allocate Organization Entitlements

Once purchased, organization entitlements for an application or service
must
 be allocated to the specific organization or sub-organization.
To Allocate an Entitlement
TIP: Purchased organization entitlements appear in the FactoryTalk Hub Entitlements page within 1-2 hours.
Once purchased they must be allocated
to an organization. However, if you have overlapping times on
platform entitlements
 you have the option to decide if you want to replace the current organization entitlement now or in the future. This lets you set the effective date of the new organization entitlement after the current organization entitlement expires so that you can upgrade your license automatically. While the new organization entitlement is waiting to be activated it is marked as pending.
Only the owner and administrator of an organization or sub-organization can allocate organization entitlements. The
Allocate
 button is disabled for non-administrators.
  1. From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, select
    Organizations
     or
    Sub-organizations
    .
  2. From the list, select the organization or sub-organization which you want to allocate the entitlements to.
  3. From the FactoryTalk Hub menu, select
    Organization Entitlements
    .
    The new organization entitlement appears at the top of
    Entitlements
     under
    Available to allocate
    .
    IMPORTANT: To allocate an add-on entitlement you must first allocate a platform entitlement.
  4. Verify that the correct organization or sub-organization name appears in the breadcrumb.
  5. Locate the organization entitlement that you want to assign to your organization or sub-organization and select
    Allocate
     next to the entitlement row.
  6. Ensure that the organization entitlement, organization or sub-organization, and allocated entitlements quantity are correct, then select
    Allocate
    .
    The organization entitlement is allocated.
The allocated organization entitlement is now available in the organization or sub-organization to which it was allocated. Additional steps may be required for your application. See the application documentation for details.
