Add an instruction block to the ladder diagram program

A ladder diagram (LD) instruction block element is a IEC 61131-3 compliant functional element in an LD program.
An LD instruction block can be a function, a function block, a user-defined function block, a user-defined function, or an operator.
Prerequisites
  • Create an instruction block.
To add an instruction block to the ladder diagram program
  1. In
    Toolbox
    , in
    Search
    , enter the instruction block name.
  2. Drag the instruction block to a valid location.
    A green dot indicating the valid dropping location indicates a valid dropping location.
