Shut down the serial port

Shut down the serial port to end the incoming communications on the serial port to the controller. After shutting down the serial port, the page shows only the
Driver
 list.
To shut down the serial port
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Serial Port
    .
  3. From the
    Driver
     list, select
    Shutdown
    .
