Serial Port - CIP serial configuration page

Use the CIP serial configuration page to do the following actions:

Diagnose
Opens the communication diagnostics view, which shows the communication driver status.
Diagnose
 is available when the controller is online and
CIP serial
 or
Modbus RTU
 is set as the driver.
Baud rate
Lists the baud rate in bits per second. Options are:
  • 1200
  • 2400
  • 4800
  • 9600
  • 19200
  • 38400
The default value is
38400
.
Parity
Lists the parity bit usage in the communication packets. Options are:
  • None
  • Odd
  • Even
The default value is None.
Station address
Specifies the station address for the serial port that is associated with the DF1 protocol.
The value is from 0 through 254. The default value is
1
.
Protocol Control
DF1 mode
Lists the supported protocol.
The protocol control setting varies with the selected DF1 mode. Options are as follows:
