Function files

Function files do not consume user memory.

Each input or output data element consumes around three user words because of the overhead associated with I/O forcing. Because of the controller's limited user memory, although the controller supports up to 256 elements in a file, creating a file with 256 elements might not be possible.

controller supports 20 kilobytes of program files and data files in total. The maximum data memory usage is 10,000 words.
