Delete an expansion module from the controller

Deleting an expansion module removes all associated variables from the controller configuration.
After deletion, update the Project Organization Units, interrupt definitions, Modbus address mappings, MicroLogix mappings, and DNP3 mappings that use these variables.
To delete an expansion module from the controller
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , go to
    I/O Configurations
    Expansion
    .
  2. Expand
    Expansion
    , right-click the expansion module, and then select
    Delete
    .
  3. In
    Warning
    :
    • Select
      OK
       to remove the placeholder from
      Project Organizer
      . The slot numbers of subsequent modules will reduce by one.
    • Select
      No
       to keep the placeholder in
      Project Organizer
      , with
      Available
       appearing at the original slot. The slot numbers of other modules remain unchanged.
