Temperature ranges for the 2085-IRT4 input variables

The range of data format for the 2085-IRT4 expansion module covers the full analog range: temperature range of each sensor, 0 mV to 100 mV, or 0 Ω to 500 Ω.
TIP: When you use Thermocouple B or Thermocouple C, set
Units
to
°F
, and set
Data format
to
Engineering units x1
. The maximum value of input data is 32767, instead of 33080 or 41990.

Data Format
Temperature Sensor
(10 Thermocouple and 8 RTD)
0 to 100 mV Sensor
0 to 500 Ω Sensor
Raw/proportional data
From –32768 through 32767.
Engineering units x1
The temperature value (°C/°F).
The resolution is 0.1 °C/°F per count.
For example, 999 represents 99.9 °C/°F (or 999 x 0.1 °C/°F). The range depends on the selected sensor type.
From 0 through 10000.
The resolution is 0.01 mV per count. For example, 9999 represents 99.99 mV (or 9999 x 0.01 mV).
From 0 through 5000.
The resolution is 0.1 Ω per count. For example, 4999 represents 499.9 Ω (or 4999 x 0.1 Ω).
Engineering units x10
The temperature value  (°C/°F).
The resolution is 1 °C/°F per count.
For example, 999 represents 999 °C/°F  (or 999 x 1 °C/°F). The range depends on the selected sensor type.
From 0 through 1000.
The resolution is 0.1 mV per count.
For example, 999 represents 99.9 mV (or 999 x 0.1 mV).
From 0 through 500.
The resolution is 1 Ω per count.
For example, 499 represents 499 Ω (or 499 x 1 Ω).
Percent range
From 0 through 10000.
The resolution is 0.01% per count. For example, 9999 represents 99.99% (or 9999 x 0.01%).
