2085-IQ16 expansion module

2085-IQ16 is a16-point expansion module. After adding a 2085-IQ16 expansion module:
  • 16 global variables are created in the controller project.
  • In
    Project Organizer
    , under
    Expansion
    , a
    2085-IQ16
     node is created.
  • The
    2085-IQ16
     page contains the following nodes. Select a node to view and configure the corresponding settings.
    • Overview
      : Displays the device image, catalog number, revision, product type, and slot number. Selecting
      Device definition
      opens a dialog to change the slot and revision, and configure whether to fault the controller when the expansion module is absent.
    • Variable
      : Lists the added variables with variable names and data types.
    • Configuration
      : Configures the settings introduced in the following 2085-IQ16 configuration page settings table.

Description
Input: 0–7
Shows the off-to-on and on-to-off parameters for inputs 0–7.
The time from when the external input voltage reaches an on or off state to when the 2085-IQ16 module recognizes that change of state.
The controller will have extra delays due to ladder execution and backplane activities.
Options are:
  • 8.0 ms
  • 4.0 ms
  • 2.0 ms
  • 1.0 ms
  • 0.5 ms
  • 0.1 ms
  • 0 ms
Default options are:
  • 2.0 ms
     for
    OFF -> ON
  • 8.0 ms
     for
    ON -> OFF
Input: 8–15
Shows the off-to-on and on-to-off parameters for inputs 8–15.
