2085-IF8 expansion module

2085-IF8 is an 8-channel 14-bit expansion module. After adding a 2085-IF8 expansion module:
  • Thirteen global variables are created in the controller project.
  • In
    Project Organizer
    , under
    Expansion
    , a
    2085-IF8
     node is created.
  • The
    2085-IF8
     configuration page contains the following nodes. Select a node to view and configure the corresponding settings.
    • Overview
      : Displays the device image, catalog number, revision, product type, and slot number. Selecting
      Device definition
       a dialog change the device slot and revision, and configure whether to fault the controller when the expansion module is absent.
    • Variable
      : Lists the added variables with variable names and data types.
    • Channel <x>
      : Configures the settings on channel
      <x>
      , where
      x
       represents channels from 0 through 7.
