MILWAUKEE (April 7, 2026) – Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE:ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced it has filed zoning-related applications to advance the proposed manufacturing site in the city of New Berlin. The new facility will be located off South Moorland Road between Grange and College Avenues. The zoning applications that were filed are consistent with the standard planning and permitting process.
“Planning and designing this new facility gives us the opportunity to create the factory of the future,” said Blake Moret, Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation. “We chose this location because Rockwell has had its headquarters in Southeastern Wisconsin for over a century and the area already has the highly skilled workforce and culture of innovation that’s needed to bring this technology to life.”
First announced in November 2025, the proposed facility is part of Rockwell’s $2 billion investment in plants, digital infrastructure, and talent to grow share, build resilience, and expand margins over the next five years. The plant will complement Rockwell’s existing U.S. plants and global manufacturing network as the company expands its ability to deliver an in-region for-region experience.
The New Berlin location will include approximately one million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space and has the potential to be Rockwell’s largest manufacturing site globally. It will integrate advanced automation, robotics, and digital technologies that reflect Rockwell’s leadership in modern industrial operations.
Additional details will be shared as planning, permitting, and site development progress.
