Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced its Igniting Resilience event on 24 June in Abu Dhabi, bringing together manufacturing leaders to explore how to build resilient, future-ready operations in an increasingly dynamic environment.
The event focuses on helping organizations strengthen supply chains, improve operational visibility, enhance cybersecurity and leverage digital transformation to respond faster and operate with greater agility. This closely connects with insights from Rockwell Automation’s latest State of Smart Manufacturing report, which highlights the Middle East as the most committed region globally to digital transformation.

According to the report, 98% of manufacturers in the Middle East consider digital transformation essential, with organizations allocating close to 30% of operating budgets to industrial technology. This level of commitment is driving rapid adoption of advanced technologies, including near-universal deployment of artificial intelligence, where 98% of manufacturers are using or planning to use AI and 100% have embraced generative AI.
The event will connect these regional insights with practical use cases. Sessions will explore how industrial AI is enabling a shift from automation to autonomy, how autonomous robotics are transforming operations, and how cybersecurity is evolving into a foundational component of resilient manufacturing environments. These topics reflect broader regional priorities, particularly as 97% of manufacturers continue to invest in cybersecurity and 57% report experiencing at least one cyberattack in the past year.
