Update firmware revision

Use this procedure to update the firmware revision of the controller.
To update firmware revision:
  1. In the
    Network Browser
     dialog, select
    Update Firmware
     to open the
    Choose Firmware Revision dialog
    .
  2. In
    Look for Firmware Update Files In
    , enter the directory where the firmware updates are stored.
    Select
    Browse
     to navigate to a specific directory.
  3. From the
    Revision/Update Type/File
     table, highlight the firmware revision with which to update the controller.
    Note that only those updates compatible with the Logix Designer application version are listed in this table.
    TIP: Use Autoflash to update only the controller’s firmware. If other devices require firmware updates, run the ControlFLASH Plus application separately. Run the ControlFLASH Plus software by choosing
    Tools > ControlFLASH Plus
    .
  4. Select
    Update
     to start the flash upgrade.
