Introducing RSLinx Classic SDK

RSLinx Classic Software Development Kit (SDK) is an application programming interface (API) that allows client applications to exploit the power of the Microsoft Windows operating systems and RSLinx Classic communication engine. Use the API function calls in your C-language client application programs to read data from and/or write data to data tables in Allen-Bradley processors.
To use the RSLinx Classic SDK API functions effectively, you should be familiar with:
  • the Allen-Bradley (A-B) products in your system
  • the Rockwell Software products on your system
  • Intel-based personal computers
  • Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • C language programming techniques
