When you call
When you call, you should be at your computer and be prepared to provide the following information:
- Product serial number
- Product version numberTIP:The product serial number and version number can be found in the software by selectingHelp > About RSLinx Classic.
- Hardware you are using
- Exact wording of any errors or messages that appeared on your screen
- Description of what happened and what you were doing when the problem occurred
- Description of how you attempt to solve the problem
