Add a driver

To add a driver, perform the following steps:
  1. From the RSLinx Classic main menu, select
    Communications > Configure Drivers
    .
  2. From the
    Configure Drivers
    dialog box, select the desired driver from the
    Available Driver Types
    list.
  3. Click
    Add New
    . The
    Add New RSLinx Classic Driver
     dialog box opens.
  4. Enter a name for the selected driver (15 character maximum), and click
    OK
    . The
    Configuration
     dialog box for that driver appears.
  5. In the
    Configuration
    dialog box, enter the appropriate parameters for the desired driver.
  6. Click
    OK
     to close the
    Configuration
    dialog box. The new driver now appears in the
    Configured Drivers
     list.
