Remote ControlNet Bridge Device

This ControlLogix Gateway acts as a gateway to ControlNet from ControlNet, Ethernet, or DH+, using the 1756-CNB module. When the Remote ControlNet bridge device setting is selected, the Remote Routing Configuration screen opens.

When using DDE links to stations through the ControlLogix Gateway, the performance capacity of the Gateway is lower than a Pyramid Integrator Gateway. Use the Limit Maximum Packets setting on your DDE topics to ensure no more than five packets are queued to any 1756-CNB module from all DDE topics combined, or the CNB module drops packets and timeouts occur. Also, with either the DHRIO or the CNB module, you may need to lengthen your poll rates until no timeouts occur.
