SLC 500 (DH485) Emulator diagnostics

Diagnostic counters are available by right-clicking the processor station in the RSWho window. Driver diagnostics are found under the General tab in the tabbed dialog. Driver diagnostics are modeless; therefore, they can remain on the desktop if you minimize RSLinx Classic. The following is the list of diagnostic counters shown and the definition of each.
General Tab
Packets sent to emulator
Total packets RSLinx Classic has sent to all stations running in the emulator.
Packets received from emulator
Total packets RSLinx Classic has received from all stations running in the emulator.
Packets answered by the driver
Total packets sent to this driver which were addressed to the driver's own station number. RSLinx Classic replies to these without talking to the emulator.
Timeouts – can not send to emulator
Number of packets that RSLinx Classic could not send to the emulator because RSLinx Classic could not gain access to the emulator's mailbox. Probably the emulator is not running.
Timeouts – no reply from emulator
Number of commands that RSLinx Classic successfully sent to the emulator, but for which no reply was received. The emulator appeared to be running, but may have crashed or locked up, or may be servicing messages very slowly.
Packets to nonexistent emulator stations
Total packets sent to this driver where the destination station number was not the driver's station number and was not the station number of any program running in the emulator.
Invalid packets (bad route or packet type)
Total packets sent to this driver which had invalid headers and could not be delivered. These were probably sent by other applications on the same machine, or from other devices on a network.
Number of active emulator stations
The number of stations which are currently loaded and running in the emulator; plus one station for the driver itself.
