1771-SDN Pass Through Configuration
The 1771-SDN Pass Through Configuration property page contains the following controls:
- Port:Select the Port for the configuration you want to display.
- RSWho:Use the RSWho browser to find the PLC-5, through which the 1771-SDN can be accessed. Click + to expand and view devices on the network. Select the PLC-5, through which you want to access the 1771-SDN. This enables the configuration of the 1771 Backplane and SDN Channel configuration items.
- Rack:Specifies the Rack address (0 through 37) associated with the 1771-SDN, through which you want to communicate.
- Group:Specifies the Group address (0 through 7) associated with the 1771-SDN, through which you want to communicate.
- Slot:Specifies the Slot address (0 or 1) associated with the 1771-SDN, through which you want to communicate.IMPORTANT: Ensure that the Rack, Group, and Slot addresses are accurate. The software cannot automatically verify this information, and invalid information may cause control system errors to occur. Errors may result in damage to machinery or severe bodily harm.
- Channel 1:Select the 1771-SDN channel to attach to the DeviceNet network.
- Channel 2:Select the 1771-SDN channel to attach to the DeviceNet network.
- Communication Timeout (sec):Specify the number of seconds to wait to receive Block Transfer responses from the PLC-5.
- Timeout to insert in packets:Specify the timeout value to be inserted into the remote Block Transfer Read and Block Transfer Write packets that are sent to the PLC-5. This value is defined in the PCCC Protocol Specification (DS C 4056, Revision G) in the "Write Block Transfer With Data", and "Read Block Transfer With Data" sections.
