Machines view

In the View menu, select
Machines
 to display a list of all machines or a list of machines in a group. Enter a term in the
Search
 box to highlight that term in the list.
Machines view columns
Column
Description
Name
The name of the machine. Select
Expand
 to display the list of monitored software installed on the computer. Select the expand icon for each software application to display installed versions and utilities.
Tip: displays only the first 15 characters in the machine name. Names longer than 15 characters are truncated.
Address
The IP address of the machine.
Status
The online or offline status of the machine.
Installed Version
The installed version of software. The Version Lifecycle Management (VLM) icon indicates the lifecycle status for the installed version:
  • Preferred
  • Managed
  • Limited
  • Retired
If there is an active Product Safety Advisory (PSA) for a product, the PSA icon appears. Select the icon to open the advisory statement.
Latest Version
The newest version of software available on the Rockwell Automation Product Compatibility and Download Center.
Latest Patch
The newest software patch available on the Rockwell Automation Product Compatibility and Download Center.
Activations
The activation search path.
FactoryTalk Updater R4.10 allows you to verify the operating system version of the agent both client and web client, that the installed FactoryTalk Updater Agent version is greater than or equal to v4.10, and that FactoryTalk Updater Agent can collect the operating system information and send it to FactoryTalk Updater Server.
Verify the operating system version of the machine by mousing over on the client.
