Diagnostics Viewer displays no messages

Possible cause and solution:
  • FactoryTalk Services Platform
    was recently installed or re-installed
    FactoryTalk Services Platform
    and it is not detecting the message logs.
    Use the following steps to reinitialize the message log:
    1. In
      FactoryTalk Administration Console
      , select
      Tools
      >
      FactoryTalk Diagnostics
      >
      Viewer
      .
    2. Select
      View
      >
      Options
      .
    3. In
      Properties
      , on the
      General
      tab, locate the checkbox
      Initially show the most recent messages
      .
      • If the select is selected, clear the selection and select
        Apply
        .
    4. Select
      Initially show the most recent messages
      , and then select
      OK
      .
    5. Refresh the contents of Diagnostics Viewer.
      • On the
        View
        menu, select
        Refresh
        , or select
        Refresh
        on the toolbar.
