Drivers
A driver is the software interface to the computer or workstation hardware that allows the computer to communicate with a network to detect and communicate with a control system device. If a device is not detected by the , use the browser to add or modify a driver configuration.
FactoryTalk Linx
Network BrowserFactoryTalk Linx Network Browser supports adding and configuring the following driver types:
- Ethernet
- Remote Devices via Proxy Service
- USB CIP
- Virtual Backplane
FactoryTalk Linx Network Browser also supports the following driver types by configuring them in the FactoryTalk Administration console, see Available drivers for more information.
