Write Item

How do I open Write Item?
  1. Select the data items you wish to write.
  2. Right-click the item and select
    Write Item(s)
    .
  3. Select either
    Sync Write
     or
    Async Write
    .
Use
Write Item
to write the value of the data items you selected.
Setting
Description
Item ID
The list of data items selected.
Data Type
Select to choose a data type that is supported for writes. This entry now appears in the
Write Data Type
 column.
Value
Enter the new value, in the format supported by the data type. This value now appears in the
Write Value
 column. Ensure that the value conforms to the data type.
Next Item
If you selected multiple items, select the
Next Item
 button to change the value of the next data item.
