Item Properties

How do I open Item Properties?
  • When monitoring data, select a data item, then select the
    Item Properties
     button on the
    FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
     toolbar.
  • When adding items, in the
    Add Item
    dialog box, select an item, then select the
    Item Properties
     button.
Because of limited horizontal space in
FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
, it might not be possible to view all of the properties of a data item at once.
Item Properties
 provides detailed information about the data item selected in
FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
.
When viewing item properties, the number in parentheses is an internal identifier for the data item. Numbers below 5000 are defined by the OPC foundation. Numbers above 5000 are vendor-specific.
