Considerations when changing the workstation hostname

To ensure system functionality after changing the hostname,
  • Verify the address on
    Endpoints
     of
    OPC UA Server
    .
  • Regenerate the outgoing certificate.
    The OPC UA client must trust the new certificate.
  • Change the host information of the MQTT certificate configuration if necessary.
  • Verify the hostname of the FactoryTalk Linx server and OPC UA server if you also use them on the same computer.
