Select time bar

The trend displays the tag value over a period of time or in real time. The X-axis of the trend always represents time. There are two time modes:

Absolute

and

Relative

. In

Absolute

mode, you select specific dates and times for the start and end of the time period. The start time must be earlier than the end time. In

Relative

mode, you select a typical time period from the dropdown list, such as the last 5 minutes, or the last 1 hour. When a trend is published using a Relative time period, it always retrieves data relative to the present time.

Switch to Live mode by toggling the Live Mode button on the toolbar.
