When calling, be at your computer and prepared to give the following information:
- The product name and version number, which can be found in the client.
- The type of hardware being used.
- The exact wording of any errors or messages that appeared on your screen.
- A description of what happened and what you were doing when the problem occurred.
- A description of how you attempted to solve the problem.
- Open the log files location. Data Explorer log files are stored under:
- Users folder: \DataExplorer\workspace\.metadata
- C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\FactoryTalk Analytics Data Explorer\4.5\workspace\.metadata.
