Setting report preferences
You can define a footer to print on every page of the report and select the font and color (if your printer supports color printing) for the various sections of the report.
- From theViewmenu, selectUser Preferences. TheUser Preferencesdialog box opens to theGeneraltab.
- Select theReportstab. The default report style for most views isFormatted.TheReportstab contains the following items:ItemDescriptionReportcolumnLists the report templates available for the item or view that is currently active in the Editor.Listcheck boxEnables the list report style, if available for the associated report.Formattedcheck boxEnables the formatted report style, which is the default format for most reports.Include Related Datacheck boxAdds any additional data associated with the selected item to the printed report.Footer TextPrints the word or phrase entered at the bottom of each report page.List ReportsbuttonFormatted ReportsbuttonOpens theReport Page Configurationdialog box where you can set the margins, font, and text color for a specific report template.Graphical ReportsbuttonNot enabled inMaterial Manager.
- To change the type of printed report, select eitherListorFormattedto the right of the appropriate report.TIP:If you select theListformat, set the page orientation to landscape. From theFilemenu, selectPrint Setup, selectLandscapein the Orientation area, and then clickOK.
- Where available, you can selectInclude Related Data, and any additional data associated with the selected item (single items only – not lists or groups) also prints on the report.
- In theFooter Textbox, type a word or phrase to appear centered at the bottom of each page.
- ClickApply.
