IP Configuration Mode
Indicates the IP configuration mode (Dynamic, Static, or Unknown) of the CIP devices. The devices need to be online
The configuration modes include:
Dynamic
: Dynamic IP addresses are subject to change. They are assigned, as needed, by DHCP servers. If a dynamic address is not in use, it can be automatically assigned to a different device.
Static
: A static IP address is simply an address that does not change. Once your device is assigned a static IP address, that number typically stays the same until the device is decommissioned or your network architecture changes.
To get the IP configuration mode, ensure the devices are online and then refresh the state.
CIP Information
Indicates properties of the CIP devices, which include Vendor ID, Device Type, Product Code, Revision, Status, Serial Number, Product Name, Product Name Length, and State. It shows as
Unknown
if the information cannot be loaded.
To get the CIP information, ensure the devices are online and then refresh the state.
Modified
Indicates the latest update date.
