Client Id

Description
This value indicates the ID of the OPC UA client. This ID is randomly assigned by the FactoryTalk Linx Gateway OPC UA server upon connection establishment. It serves as a unique identifier for each OPC UA client and allows the server to distinguish between multiple client connections and manage communication with them.
Example of a client ID: ns=2; i=4171769704
  • “ns=2” indicates that the namespace index is 2.
  • “i=4171769704” indicates that the numeric identifier value is 4171769704.
