PI/FT Historian

Perform the following steps to register PI/FT Historian Data source:
  1. On the left navigation panel, under
    Configuration
     drop-down click
    Data Source Onboard
    .
  2. In the
    Select Data Source
     tab, from the
    Select Timeseries Extractor
     drop-down, select
    PI/FT Historian
    , and click
    Next
    .
    Onboarding Data Source
  3. Under
    Data Source Configuration
     tab, provide the following parameters and click
    Next
    :
    • Historian Server Name
    • Site
    • Area
    Data Source Configuration
    Result
    : The application sets up the required configuration and objects on Cognite and DataMosaix platforms and
    "Your registration is completed"
     message is displayed on successful registration of the data source.

  4. To download the extractor configuration, click
    Click to Open Config.yml file
     and then click
    Download
    .
    Download Extractor Configuration File
  5. The user can copy the configuration template. To copy the template, click
    Copy
    .
  6. Click
    Start Over
     to start the onboarding process again or
    Exit
     to go back to the home screen.
NOTE:
If registration fails, "
Your registration failed
" message is displayed.

Normal
