Add Component
    Perform the following steps to add a Component to the Hierarchy list:
- On the left navigation menu, drop-down theConfigurationmenu and clickAsset Setup.
 - Click theAssetnode from the Hierarchy list.
 - Click the [
] icon and select
Add Node. - In theAdd Nodewindow, set these parameters:
- Name: Provide the Component name.
 - Description: Provide a description of the Component.
 - Functional Location: Provide the location details.NOTE: Select theAuto Generate Functional Locationcheckbox to use the system-generated functional location.
 - Configuration Status: By default, Configuration Status is in Draft, and the user can select the required status from the drop-down list.
 
 - UnderComponent Class Detailssection, set these parameters:
- Component Class Name: Select the required Component Class Name from the drop-down list.
 - Component Class Type: Select the required Component Class Type from the drop-down list.
 - Operational Regimes: Select the required Operational Regimes from the drop-down list.
 - Initial Health Score: Provide an Initial Health Score value in %.
 - Commissioned Date: Select the Commissioned date using a date picker.
 
 - ClickAdd.Add Component
The "Component was added to hierarchy successfully" message is displayed. - (Optional) In theInfotab, clickEditand perform the following actions:
- Geographical Location: Provide the Geographical Location details.
 - Contact Details: Provide the Contact Details.
 - Remarks: Provide the Remarks details.
 - Make: Provide the Component Make details.
 - Lifecycle Status: Select the required Lifecycle Status from the drop-down list.
 - Files Uploaded: ClickBrowseto upload the files related to the Component.
 
 - ClickSave.
