PTxx Diagnostics dialog box

How do I open the PTxx Diagnostic dialog box?

Diagnostics
is disabled when:

You are operating offline.

An identity mismatch exists.

In the Controller Organizer
, expand the I/O Configuration
folder, and click the module.

In the Module Properties
dialog box, click Points
.

Under Diagnostics
, click the button for the point for which you want to diagnose a problem.

The PTxx Diagnostics
dialog box includes these parameters:

Short Circuit Fault	Shows whether an output short circuit or over-current fault is present on the point.	Yes No

Internal Fault	Shows whether an internal fault is present. If there is an internal fault, cycle power to the module. If the problem persists, contact Technical Support.	Yes No

Over Temperature Fault	Shows whether an over temperature fault is present. Over temperature means the device is at a normal or higher temperature than its rated operating limits.	Yes No

Critical Temperature Fault	Shows whether a critical temperature fault is present. Critical temperature means the device is above the critical temperature limit for proper operation and may shut down without further warning.	Yes No

Refresh communications	Updates the data displayed on the dialog box.
