PTxx Diagnostics dialog box

How do I open the PTxx Diagnostics dialog box?
  1. Diagnostics
    is disabled when:
    • You are operating offline.
    • An identity mismatch exists.
    In the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    I/O Configuration
    folder, and click the module.
  2. In the
    Module Properties
    dialog box, click
    Points
    .
  3. Under
    Diagnostics
    , click the button for the point for which you want to diagnose a problem.
The
PTxx Diagnostics
dialog box includes these parameters:

Short Circuit Fault
Shows whether an output short circuit or over-current fault is present on the point.

Last Fault Timestamp for Short Circuit Fault
Shows the timestamp of the last output short circuit or over-current fault in YYYY-MM-DD-HH:mm:SS_mmm (UTC-00:00) format.
  • YYYY = year
  • MM = month
  • DD = day
  • HH = hour (24 hour)
  • mm = minutes
  • SS = seconds
  • mmm = milliseconds
  • UTC-00:00 = Time zone
A valid time or
None
if there is no recorded event time.
No Load Fault
Shows whether a no load fault is present on the channel.
No load faults occur when a signal wire is disconnected from the output module terminal channel or the removable terminal block (RTB) is removed from the module.

Last Fault Timestamp for No Load Fault
Shows the timestamp of the last no load fault in YYYY-MM-DD-HH:mm:SS.mmm (UTC-00:00) format.

  • mmm = milliseconds

Shows whether field power is present on the point.
