Points view parameters

The
Points
 view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Input Filters
Off -> On/ On -> Off Filter Time
Specifies the value (in milliseconds) by which to delay the transition from off to on (
Off -> On
) and from on to off (
On -> Off
). This delay is useful for filtering out transients in noisy environments.
Latch Timestamp
Select to latch timestamp in CST or CIP Sync.
  • CST
    . Latches all Coordinated System Timer (CST) transitions so that an event is not overwritten without being acknowledged.
  • CIP Sync
    . Enables the device to timestamp using CIP Sync when it is available. Clear the checkbox timestamps using CST or Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) if receiving pairs.
Enable Timestamp Capture
Selects each input point for which you want to capture
Off -> On
 and
On -> Off
 events. Selecting a checkbox captures the specified event for the corresponding input point.
Chatter Detection
Detects a chattering signal from a device connected to an input point and ignores the data. Specify the acceptable number of input transitions within a specified time period before the signal is considered to be chatter:
  • No. of Events.
     The number of input transitions.
  • Time.
     The time period in milliseconds.
