Specify the output state when the device is in Fault mode

Specify the behavior of each output point when a communication fault occurs and the device enters Communications Fault mode.
To specify the output state when the device is in Fault mode
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Configuration
    .
  2. In the
    Configuration
    view, in the
    Output State During > Fault Mode
     column, for each output point, select one of these options:
    • Off.
      Output becomes 0 or OFF in Communications Fault mode.
    • On.
      Output becomes 1 or ON in Communications Fault mode.
    • Hold.
      Output maintains current level in Communications Fault mode.
  3. Select
    OK
     to save the changes.
