Reset diagnostics

Use the
Diagnostics
view to reset diagnostics for each input point.
To reset diagnostics
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Diagnostics
    .
  2. In the
    Diagnostics
    view, select
    Reset
    for the corresponding point and diagnostic.
    • Electronic Fuse.
       Detects when the output point experiences thermal overload or if the output point has a tripped electronic fuse. Overload occurs when the device is getting too hot due to excessive current flow. Not available for 1756-IB16D or 1756-IA8D.
    • Latched Diagnostics
      . Resets latched diagnostics and clears all faults for the channels. If the fault still exists, the fault latches again. Not available when 1756-OA8E is added with Rack Optimization connection under adapter. Not available for 1756-OV16E, 1756-OB16E, 1756-OV32E, and 1756-OB8EI.
  3. Select
    OK
     to save the changes.
